YMCA OF WAYNE COUNTY CHILDCARE PROGRAMS
YMCA of Wayne Provides Childcare programming for children 6 weeks-14 years of ages. We have two Child Care Center and Preschools, The Learning Academy and The Creative Academy. In addition to this we provide quality Before and After School Programming (BASP) and homework assistance for Orrville, Smithville, Wooster, and Shreve. During the summer, the Y also offers Summer Camp Programs in Orrville, Shreve, and Wooster. All YMCA Child Care Programs are highly rated through Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) and provide engaging hands-on activities and nurturing safe spaces for children to learn and grow.

CORNERSTONE BASP and SUMMER CAMP
Cornerstone Before and After School Program and Summer camp is located at the Cornerstone Community Center at
101 W Bowman St, Wooster, OH 44691.
This 5 Star Rated STUQ program provides engaging and active lessons for school ages 5 years-12 years of age. The Cornerstone program will transport children to Parkview and Cornerstone Elementary.
ORRVILLE BASP and SUMMER CAMP
Orrville Before and After School Program and Summer camp is located at the Orrville YMCA Branch at
1801 Smucker Rd. Orrville, OH 44667.
This 3 Star Rated STUQ program provides engaging and active lessons for school ages 5 years-14 years of age. The Orrville and Smithville schools will transport children to and from this program. YMCA members receive discounts on care.
SHREVE BASP and SUMMER CAMP
Shreve Before and After School Program and Summer Camp located inside the Shreve Elementary School is a program providing after school homework help and other engaging activities for school agers 5-12 years of age. YMCA members receive discounts on care.
SMITHVILLE BASP
Smithville Before and After School Program located inside the Smithville Elementary school is a 1 Star SUTQ Rated program providing after school homework help and other engaging activities for school agers 5-12 years of age. YMCA members receive discounts on care.

THE LEARNING ACADEMY CHILDCARE
The Learning Academy Childcare Center and Preschool is designed to provide care for children 6 weeks-6 years and is open to the public.
This 4 Star SUTQ rated program provides hands on activities and social and emotional learning opportunities. Littlest Generals Preschool and Tri-County Preschool will transport to and from this program.
Full time and part time enrollment options are available. There are no YMCA members discount on care.
THE CREATIVE ACADEMY CHILDCARE
The Creative Academy Childcare Center and Preschool is designed for children 12 months-6 years.
This 4 Star SUTQ rated program provides hands on activities and social and emotional learning opportunities. Littlest Generals Preschool and Tri-County Preschool will transport to and from this program.
